I met Emerson through his older brothers who were working as contractors for me back in 2012. Emerson was originally born in El Salvador but later moved to the States when he was 19. As time went on he became a very reliable employee and in 2018 he became a full time employee. Emerson decided that he wanted to become more fluent in English and so he began to study at a local school in 2015 and later he would come to meet his now wife Noemi whom I’ve come to adore.
In 2018 Emerson moved into our home with Noemni where they later expanded their family to add two new members, my grandsons Eduardo and Erik. I couldn't have been more happy to have them join our family and live with us. I was honored when Emerson decided to name his first son after me. Not too long after in 2019, Emerson and NOemi decided to tie the knot and were married right in our home. We had the ceremony in our living room and the reception was in our backyard. In 2022, Emerson gave me some bittersweet news. He and his wife planned on buying their first home and after some time, I was able to help them become homeowners.
I was and am so proud of them but sad to know they would soon be moving out. Emerson started working for me full time in 2018 but by the end of 2022 he had already established his own successful business and no longer needed to work for me as a full time employee. I’ve since contracted his company to work for me and he and I stay in touch regularly. I’ve come to love and appreciate him as one of my own.
